Welcome to Cue Studio

Why we build calm, kid-first tools for routines.

Cue Studio builds small, focused apps that help kids move through daily routines with confidence. We believe gentle visual cues reduce friction for families and make it easier for kids to self-regulate. Our goal is simple: calm, clear tools that help kids feel capable and help parents feel supported.

What we care about

  • Calm visuals over loud alarms
  • Simple flows that work on mobile and web
  • Respect for parents' time and attention

Why we started

Like many parents and educators, we saw the same moments repeating every day: brushing teeth, getting dressed, transitions to school, winding down for bedtime. The tasks are small, but the friction adds up. Timers can help, but many are noisy, abstract, or too rigid for young kids.

Cue Studio started with a question: what if time could feel more visual and less stressful? The answer is a set of tools that use friendly visuals, predictable cues, and gentle pacing so kids can see what is happening and stay in control.

What we are building

We are working on two products:

  • KidCue: visual routines that help kids move through daily steps calmly
  • Duckie Timer: a playful countdown that makes short tasks feel doable

Both are designed for the same outcome: fewer reminders, fewer power struggles, and more independence for kids.

How we design

We keep the interface quiet and the actions simple. The best timers disappear into the background and let kids focus on the next step. We also test with parents and teachers to make sure the experience feels natural and practical.

Small details matter: icon clarity, readable timing, and a sense of rhythm that does not feel rushed.

Stay tuned as we share more about KidCue and Duckie Timer.

Quick note

Start with a single routine and keep the visuals consistent before layering in more timers.
