About KidCue
In a world full of noise, expectations, and endless parenting advice, many children still struggle to understand what comes next.
KidCue was created to give kids a clearer way to understand their day — using real, familiar cues instead of abstract instructions.
For us, it is not just an app. It is a way to help families breathe a little easier.
🌈 Where KidCue Began
KidCue was inspired by our own experiences with children — both neurotypical and neurodivergent.
We’ve seen the daily friction: a routine that breaks down over tiny misunderstandings; a transition that spirals because expectations weren’t clear; a child who wants to do well, but cannot picture “what’s next”.
And we’ve also seen the magic when things click. When a child can see their day in real objects. When every step feels achievable, not overwhelming. When routines become reliable, not a surprise.
For many families, especially those raising ADHD or autistic children, this clarity feels like a small superpower. KidCue was built to make that clarity easier to reach — every single day.
🧠 What Inspired Us
We believe routines shouldn’t rely on abstract icons, long explanations, or verbal reminders that get lost in the moment. Children understand the world through real things.
So KidCue uses real-object cues — not generic symbols — to make routines meaningful. When a child recognizes what they see, they begin to recognize what to do.
The idea for KidCue first sparked on a quiet afternoon in early 2024, when we watched a child become suddenly cooperative simply because they saw a real photo of the next step. That moment never left us.
📸 A Routine Journey Designed for Kids
In KidCue, every routine becomes something a child can touch with their mind. You capture real items — their toothbrush, their shoes, their snack — and KidCue turns them into cues the child immediately recognizes.
Each step feels like a tiny success. Each transition feels a little smoother. Each day feels just a bit lighter for both parent and child. We hope KidCue doesn’t just organize tasks — we hope it strengthens confidence, independence, and calm.
💛 Turning Care Into a Product
Everything in KidCue — from the idea to the product design, from engineering to every word you read — was crafted by our hands. KidCue is crafted by a small, hands-on team — combining thoughtful design and careful engineering — with deep respect for how children actually learn.
We are not a large studio. We do not have a big budget or a team of designers. What we do have is a genuine belief that real cues can change real routines, and a deep respect for the children and families who will use KidCue every day.
